VyeliMed wants every woman to be able to learn about our care and get started, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or captions.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We design with readable text sizes and color contrast, descriptive image text, keyboard-friendly navigation, visible focus outlines, and motion that can be paused or reduced through your device settings.

What we have done

• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
• A pause control on the background video and the moving photo strip, and reduced motion when your device asks for it.
• Pages that work with a keyboard alone, including the treatment details windows.
• Headings, labels and page regions that screen readers can navigate.
• Automated accessibility testing of each page before it is published.

Third-party tools

Our patient intake, portal and payment pages are provided by our technology and payment partners. We ask our partners to meet the same accessibility standard, and we will help you complete any step you have trouble with.
